The First Conditional

UseForm
The First Conditional is used to talk about real and possible situations in the future. These are situations that can actually happen. Here’s the basic formula:
If + present simple → will + base verb
Examples:
– If it rains, I will stay at home.
– If I pass my exam, I will celebrate.
– If you study, you will succeed.

We use it for:
1. Real future possibilities
If I see her, I will tell her.
2. Plans and decisions
If I have time, I will call you.
3. Warnings
If you don’t study, you will fail.
Examples:
If I study, I will pass.
If she comes, we will start.
Important:
– The “if” clause uses the present simple
– The result clause uses “will” + verb
– You can switch the clauses:
If it rains, I will stay home.
I will stay home if it rains.
Both ssentences are correct
Note: No comma when “if” is in the middle
